The National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL) harvests innovative technology from the commercial and non-defense marketplace, ensuring the development of better, cheaper, and faster defense capabilities. We offer a unique and simplified approach to rapidly develop, demonstrate, and assess prototypes that address a range of operational and installation needs, from individual Warfighter technology up to large-scale installation projects. NSTXL delivers technology to the Warfighter by serving as a one-stop shop to match government requirements with innovative private-sector and academic solutions.


Each of our OTAs is a distinct member-based not-for-profit with its own membership that is managed and serviced by NSTXL. Currently, our OTAs have more than 900 corporate, non-profit, educational, and financial institution members. For these members, NSTXL offers opportunities to bid on government contracts, education and training, and live/virtual forums on a wide variety of topics.


Job Description

The Growth Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving qualified, military leads to business development through targeted, outbound efforts. They will nurture and execute personalized, multichannel campaigns for Tier 1 targets for revenue expansion. Whether it’s creating targeted ad campaigns or analyzing user behavior, you’ll be a driving force behind marketing strategies that revolutionize the U.S. defense industry.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven growth strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns for Tier 1 targets, including but not limited to SEO, SEM, events, paid social, email, and content marketing.
  • Define the account strategy to fully understand the specific needs and goals of each key account.
  • Take ownership of the lifecycle management process to gain a comprehensive understanding of the prospect's journey, spanning from the initial contact phase to acquisition and retention.
  • Conduct A/B testing and analyze campaign performance to continually refine strategies for maximum impact.
  • Continuously monitor campaign performance, results measurement, and make recommendations that improve campaign visibility, lead progression, and pipeline creation.
  • Analyze user behavior and website performance to identify areas for improvement in the conversion funnel.
  • Utilize analytics tools to measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives to drive informed decision-making.
  • Work closely with the marketing team, business development team, and OTA directors to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding.
  • Effectively communicate campaign results, insights, and recommendations to cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with internal teams to organize and execute account-based marketing tactics at key growth-focused conferences and events
  • Communicate to leadership on progress against KPIs, relaying successes and learnings from campaigns through data-driven reports and presentations

Job requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • US citizen.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of growth marketing experience.
  • Experience with HubSpot, Rollworks, Google Analytics.
  • Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Great time-management skills, coordinate multiple activities at once, and readjust schedule for unexpected requests.
  • Strong technology skills and confidence necessary to learn unfamiliar programs quickly and efficiently.
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform and adjust growth strategies.
  • Willingness to explore and test new channels and methods for acquiring Tier 1 targets.
  • Regularly optimize digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, paid social, and email, to maximize reach and effectiveness.
