The National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL), a fast-growing provider of acquisition services to the US Federal Government, is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to fill the Program Manager role in support of the US Space Force’s (USSF) Space Enterprise Consortium (SpEC) Other Transaction Authority (OTA). NSTXL is the consortium manager for SpEC which delivers rapid and innovative prototypes in USSF’s key technology areas: Ground Control, Propulsion, Communications, Sensors, Defense Applications, Advanced Materials, Range Utilization, On-Orbit Operations, and Survivability. SpEC works with program offices across the DoD to help craft innovative prototype solicitations and then markets these to a wide variety of traditional and non-traditional companies within the consortium to propose solutions. The SpEC Program Manager will work directly with the SpEC Director, military, commercial, and academic stakeholders to help identify, secure and deliver solutions to the USSF warfighter.
Key Responsibilities
The Program Manager will support the Director in the growth of the program and with a focus on the tactical, day-to-day execution of the SpEC vehicle to ensure effective performance and program success. Responsibilities include coordination of Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) processes, insuring effective and efficient execution for the SpEC vehicle, coordination and transparency with different program stakeholders, and working to achieve the desired program outcomes and growth goals.

About Space Enterprise Consortium (SpEC)
The Space Enterprise Consortium (SpEC) was established in 2017 through the Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center. SpEC was created to bridge the cultural gap between military buyers and commercial space startups and small businesses through OTAs. The OTA’s innovative contracting process allows SpEC to solicit bids from a mix of member companies including companies that have not previously done work with the DoD.
