The National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL) harvests innovative technology from the commercial and non-defense marketplace, ensuring the development of better, cheaper, and faster defense capabilities. We offer a unique and simplified approach to rapidly develop, demonstrate, and assess prototypes that address a range of operational and installation needs, from individual Warfighter technology up to large-scale installation projects. NSTXL delivers technology to the Warfighter by serving as a one-stop shop to match government requirements with innovative private-sector and academic solutions.


Each of our OTAs is a distinct member-based not-for-profit with its own membership that is managed and serviced by NSTXL. Currently, our OTAs have more than 900 corporate, non-profit, educational, and financial institution members. For these members, NSTXL offers opportunities to bid on government contracts, education and training, and live/virtual forums on a wide variety of topics.


Job Description

The Marketing Program Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional marketing experience for our OTAs (Other Transaction Authority). This includes creating customized campaigns for each opportunity supported under S2MARTS, S2MARTS Research, Microelectronics Commons, and SpEC. This person will be responsible for ensuring all marketing communications are sent out internally to our customers and externally to our consortium members.


Responsibilities

  • Assure OTA marketing program teams meet all marketing-owned OTA contract requirements.
  • Lead team L10s, ensuring we are on track for department/client quarterly and yearly goals.
  • Oversee production of reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly) to program directors
  • Manage the program marketing team and assist them with marketing efforts when needed. This team includes the S2MARTS Program Marketing Manager, S2MARTS Program Marketing Coordinator, and SpEC Program Marketing Specialist.
  • Mentor, coach, develop, and motivate the program marketing team.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the defense innovation ecosystem, hot topics, and market trends.
  • Attend client discovery calls and interface with program directors to outline program initiatives, give direction to program marketing team and assure quality deliverables.
  • Educate government clients and internal OTA team on marketing service offerings.
  • Raise target awareness in key technical areas through marketing campaigns and 1:1 outreach (nurture sequences, DM, phone call, etc.)
  • Conduct market research and competitive analyses, reporting on market trends and opportunities.
  • Help team build marketing campaign briefs and support campaigns builds and execution.
  • Effectively communicate campaign results, insights, and recommendations to cross-functional teams.
  • Create process improvements with the program marketing team and document/train employees on new processes.
  • Work with MOps to create automated engagement reporting for each marketing campaign.

Job requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • US citizen.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of marketing experience
  • At least 2 years of experience leading a team of 3-5 people
  • Experience with HubSpot (or related CRM system) and WordPress
  • Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Great time-management skills, coordinate multiple activities at once, and readjust schedule for unexpected requests.
  • Strong technology skills and confidence necessary to learn unfamiliar programs quickly and efficiently.
  • Put effort into their leadership style and deeply care about their employees and their growth.
